App does not sync steps and other health data from android wear to phone app but instead records data separately on the app and on the watch (ticwatch e). There is no way to force a manual sync for real time data either. Wanting to pair with my fitness pal like I did with my fitbit charge but doesn't work anywhere near as good. Expect much better from Google's own apps and software working together. Full Review

Most of the details you want to track are available but the presentation is poor. They need to add flexibility to the cards to give you quick snapshots of different metrics you want to track at a glance (and hide the ones you don't care about). Instead all of the details are buried in the timeline. I shouldn't have to click through a series of screens and filters to see my steps, weight, heart rate, sleep, and exercise. Full Review

I have this app on my an Android Wear watch and my phone. I was under the impression it would work some what like Fitbit. Wrong. This app does not sync properly between multiple devices. It is like the app on my watch and the app on my phone operate independently even though it is the same account on both. And don't even bother with customer service/support. There is a lot of potential, but unfortunately it needs a lot of work. Overall I'm very disappointed. Full Review

After writing my initial review, I've done some pondering, and my opinion of Google Fit has kinda done a 180. The point of this app is to be a central hub with really really good activity logging built in. Nutrition logging and pre-made workouts isn't the point - the point is to bring all those services that other developers do better and to put a central focus on goals. I love how I can connect all the services I love to one app, and look and have a quick glance of my day. Despite this, there are some things I would like. A health coach would be nice, especially with Google's Machine learning, some mild sleep tracking would be nice, but not important. What I'd really like is a deeper dive into my Fit-created data such as the ability to tab on my goals and get a more comprehensive breakdown, but it still does its job as a data hub really well. This app is hideously inaccurate. It is danger for your health. Different numbers on watch, different on fit site, different on phone. It syncs random numbers. A lot of crashes on watch and incossisent battery consumption. It is now 2 years with zero fixes only changes to aesthetics of UI. Full Review

What a joke this app is. Data on phone doesn't match on watch or online, according to online and watch i've done 0 steps, yet on phone it shows 16K, if I check different app on watch it shows 16K, but not GF it says 0 - online it shows done x amount of walking, while on my phone it shows only 1/4 of the figure and on watch 0. this app can't be relied on as the data is so incorrect. if it wasn't for runtastic or huawei health I wouldn't be able to see my data correctly. JUST A TOTAL JOKE THIS APP Full Review

Love the app but would be cool if you could add friends and compete against them or other Google Fit users in your area. I find myself being more motivated when I can compete against someone else. Hopefully you add this soon. Full Review

Pretty much the same results as others users here. Total inconsistency between the steps on watch and phone, even though they are in sync (same goals, weight, height updates appear on both devices). I do have settings on phone set for syncing as per Fit Help page but it makes no difference. Not interested in workouts or being location tracked 24 hours a day, just want a basic step count to show up on my phone. Full Review

After using Google fit, samsung health and fitbit i have to say this is by FAR the worst, its a lot harder to see workouts etc and after trying to make it look user friendly google have infact made it not user friendly. If u can do it without a lawsuit go and get someone to copy one of the aforementioned apps! Also if i go for a run on the treadmill and use the app it KILLS the watch ram to the point where i have to restart it, no other apps do this ie runtastic etc Full Review

Some cool features but I dont find it that accurate . I use it with a Gen 1 moto x and android wear on a Moto 360. Steps are significantly off. Rating 2 stars Update 1: I got a fit bit, it worked perfectly but is not integrated as much as AW watches. So, I pulled out my Moto 360 again and tried Fit to see if it improved. I could not get it to track steps on my watch. The good news is that I just updated my watch. A new Huawei Watch and guess what, Google fit does not work at all. it does not track steps. Two thumbs down. The Huawei software works fine. I will try other apps but I think Google Fit has wasted enough of my time. I really want it to work but alas...it does not. I want to remove it from my phone and watch both but now it looks like it is integrated into the OS on both. Rating 1 star. Update 2: I tried to delete the app but could only deactivate it and delete all the data off my phone. I just could not leave well enough alone and eventually tried it again. I was able to connect the Wuawei fitness app to Fit via the Wuawei app. Fit started to work. Seems to work ok now. Rating 3 stars. Update...new watch LG watch Sport ....sync does not work well. App is a an absolute failure. Full Review

App is easy to use. Just totally inaccurate. Distance even when connected to phone GPS it is off at least 30%. Pace varies dramatically. Map shows widely varying path I took. I was even walking on water once. Full Review

Does not sync well with my ticwatch. I did the experiment where I did sit-ups that were tracked with the fit app on my watch. Showed up nowhere on my phone. I will just be keeping it on my watch and not using it on my phone because it is useless. If you are having a wearable device such as a smartwatch it's great. But if you have a smartwatch and a phone not going to work for you. This is an either-or kind of app. *Edit* I also tried pulling it up on my computer to see if it would show up on there and it was purely an app issue. It seems like it seriously makes a new account for every device which makes absolutely no sense especially since it's going off my Google account. You would think it'd be a cloud type system where it's all linked together but no. Seriously Google, why would I want a new account on my phone, smart watch, and computer. Why would these be treated as separate accounts. Besides the nonsense way the app is set up, I LOVE it on my smart watch. I like that it track my sit ups, push ups and all that in really time. But seriously make it all one profile. It's just annoying.... Full Review

It's meh. Google could learn a thing or two from Samsung Health in the layout department. But someone else mentioned it's more of a hub for other fitness apps than a standalone fitness app itself, which I totally agree with Full Review

Step reporting on the LG sport watch is completely inaccurate showing about 200% of what the steps likely should be. I originally thought that it was because I had the app both on my phone and on my watch , but even taking it off of my phone it continues to report the same. This causes the app to be completely unusable since it's inaccurate. Full Review
